A local oral history group has been set up in Penrhys to begin to record
the memories and experiences of people who live or have
lived/worked in Penrhys and we are seeking people to come
forward to share their stories photographs, important documents
relating to Penrhys etc., which will be published in a new book.

PENRHYS HERITAGE TRAIL

The Penrhys Heritage Trail aims to give people a better opportunity to experience, enjoy and protect our heritage, by increasing access to and raising awareness of the heritage of the historical landmarks that exist within Penrhys, Rhondda.

This web site is maintained by Penrhys Partnership and will hopefully give you a better understanding of Penrhys from its mediaeval past to the current day.

It will aim to take you on a journey through history, giving you facts and figures, legends and rumour but also providing you with latest information on services available to you in Penrhys Village
