A weekly surgery is also held at Penrhys on Thursday between 9.30am and 11.30am. The Surgery is situated by the "Penrhys Community Action Group" office.

There is a weekly collection of refuse on a THURSDAY. Please ensure your refuse is put out on that day as animals may be attracted to the waste food. During holiday times, please look out for changes of the day of collection.

TRANSPORT
There is a regular bus service that runs throughout Penrhys and feeds both the Rhondda Fach and Fawr. There is also a Penrhys Community Minibus, which is available to organised groups. To book contact:

A Rail-Bus link operates from Penrhys round-a-bout on the half hour, which gives hourly access to the Treherbert to Cardiff rail route. The Rail-link leaves Ystrad Rhondda every quarter to the hour during the day for return journeys.
