Y Ffynnon Centre - "the Village Centre" houses the Penrhys Partnership and also the Penrhys Training and Education Centre. The Training and Education Centre provides a wide range of lifelong learning opportunities for all. It offers access to advice, career guidance, education and employment opportunities, volunteering opportunities, children’s activities, access to Information Communication Technology. There are also courses for individuals and groups who can utilise the training kitchen and crèche. Work experience placements are also offered to the local schools and are accredited by the Youth Accreditation Board.
The centre is utilised by other organisations and can be booked for meetings, functions etc. and local community groups can utilise facilities as and when required.
There is also access to telephone, fax, photocopier etc. There is a wide variety of courses on offer throughout the year, many are free and some are accredited in a number of working environments, e.g. Administration, art work, music technician. We aim to provide the right course suitable for you.
